You Should Enjoy the Life You’re Working For

Remember when we experienced a global pandemic, and for a while, people just started doing what they wanted to?—no I don’t mean looting—I mean how Pinterest gained 120 million new users, Coursera gained 30 million new users, and marriages and families reported being happier. We got a peak into what it means to give people more time on their hands. It meant more creativity, more hobbies, more learning, more growing, and more loving. It meant doing what we were meant to. Enjoying our lives.

This is How I Enjoy Mine

My childhood consisted of equal parts dirt and creativity.  I filled many sketchbooks over the years and tried my hand at various hobbies, but it was writing and drawing that truly drew me into the marketing world.  I quickly discovered freelancing as a teenager and began completing miscellaneous marketing tasks for clients around the world, from merch design to website copywriting, scratching my creative itch and fueling my newfound passion for—what was—the beginning of my marketing career.

Now, nearly seven years down the line, marketing has become an ideal professional outlet that offers me unique challenges and allows me to support myself as a young woman in Utah. They tell you to find what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life, so I’ve dedicated my time to helping small businesses in the Wasatch area by managing aspects of their marketing. If I get to do what I love, shouldn’t you be doing what you love, too?

In my free time, I balance creative hobbies with things like fly fishing, rock hounding, cooking, traveling, and, of course, PC gaming.

At home are my two best friends— Lupin, showcased here, and my loving partner of four years. Together, we’re building a life we didn’t think possible and helping as many as we can along the way.
