Mike and Sam are avid catch-and-release fly fisherman and content creators that travel to secluded areas throughout the US in search of trout. They document their adventures for over thirty-thousand dedicated subscribers on Youtube.
Artwork Overview
I started by honoring Mike’s favorite mountain silhouettes and crafted a palette inspired by vintage Patagonia and FLYALLSZN’s existing colors. To maintain a clean, simple-first style, I incorporated patterns inspired by typographic maps. Finally, I designed custom icons—featuring trout, toads, salamanders, and bears—to reflect the symbols subscribers associate with FLYALLSZN and the themes that keep them coming back. I kept his logo simple, with the main imagery being framed within a reel and the secondary standing alone with a small trout for accent.
